New Foundation / Addition
What is a Pier?
A pier is a vertical support structure that is installed deep into the ground. Its main function is to provide additional stability and support to a foundation.
Piers are typically made of concrete or steel and are located underneath a concrete slab.
For concrete piers, holes are drilled and filled with rebar and concrete. For helical piers, steel piers are screwed into the ground and left in place.
At Steel and Concrete Professionals, we can help you with either systems.
